Dolomite Geotechnical Consultants is a proudly Namibian company and a 100% owned by previously disadvantaged Namibians

Opened our doors in early 2021, Dolomite Geotechnical Consultants has consistently recorded substantial growth a remarkably short period. Dolomite Geotechnical Consultants have opened offices and fully functional branch in strategically placed location throughout the country namely Ongwediva, Otjiwarongo and Keetmanshoop. Dolomite Geotechnical Consultant is committed to expand services to all four corners of Namibia. From humble beginnings Dolomite boast of employing a whooping number of over 50 Namibians youth, mainly from the previously disadvantaged communities ranging from engineers, technicians, accounts e.t.c. We are dedicated to provide mentorship and training through internship and in-service training to young professionals and students in their pursuit.
We have successfully partnered with multiple local authorities, government organizations and the private sector in numerous projects over the years. We are committed to continue on the same trajectory with profound tenacity to provide quality, authentic and timely services to our clientele.

What our services concentrate on
- The carrying out of in situ geotechnical tests to identify the nature, layer structure and characteristics of the soil.
- The carrying out of geotechnical studies concerning stability, deformation and water flow in and around structures in contact with the ground.
- Providing advice on the quality and bearing capacity of the soil and foundation techniques.
- The carrying out of geotechnical laboratory tests on soil, gravel, concrete, bitumen, aggregates, water and related samples to determine the geotechnical characteristics.

Eliaser Nghikembua
Managing Director

Eliaser Lineekela Nghikembua is the Managing Director of Dolomite Geotechnical Consultants and an experienced civil engineering professional specialising in geotechnical engineering, construction materials testing, laboratory operations, and infrastructure quality assurance. With more than 15 years of technical and leadership experience, he has contributed to major road, railway, airport, and structural infrastructure projects across Namibia and southern Angola.
Eliaser’s career combines hands-on field expertise with strategic management capability. Before founding Dolomite Geotechnical Consultants, he held senior technical and leadership roles at Bicon Namibia Consulting Engineers and Project Managers, where he helped establish and expand the company’s laboratory and geotechnical services. His work has included leading site investigations, managing technical teams, overseeing quality systems, supporting engineering design teams, and ensuring reliable project delivery for public and private sector clients.
Known for his practical judgment, technical reliability, and client-focused approach, Eliaser brings a strong understanding of infrastructure delivery requirements and the role of sound geotechnical data in successful construction outcomes. Through Dolomite Geotechnical Consultants, he continues to provide dependable, efficient, and technically grounded services that support durable infrastructure development and contribute to socio-economic progress
Salatiel Johannes
Executive Director
B.Sc. Civil Engineering (Honours)
Salatiel Johannes is the Executive Director of Dolomite Geotechnical Consultants and a Namibian civil engineering professional with more than 10 years of experience in construction materials testing, quality control and assurance, geotechnical investigations, road infrastructure, and laboratory operations. He holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Namibia and a Certificate in Theoretical and Practical Materials Testing Level 3 from Matrolab. Salatiel is also currently a candidate for an MBA (RBS) and a Certificate in Transformational Leadership NQF-5 (ALI).
His career began with the Roads Contractor Company, where he gained practical experience in road maintenance, construction supervision, surveying, materials testing, pavement investigations, and acceptance control. He later joined Bicon Namibia as a Laboratory Manager, further developing his expertise in materials testing and quality assurance through major road and infrastructure projects, including pavement investigations, Bitumen Stabilized Materials, centreline studies, borrow pit investigations, and laboratory management.
As Executive Director of Dolomite Geotechnical Consultants, Salatiel combines strong technical expertise with executive and operational leadership, contributing to the company’s strategic direction and delivery of geotechnical consultations and materials-testing services. He is particularly passionate about advancing quality and sustainability in construction materials, with a long-term focus on supporting durable, environmentally responsible infrastructure development in Namibia and the wider SADC region.

Andreas Penda Nghikembua is the Director of Dolomite Geotechnical Consultants southern region and a Namibian civil engineering professional with more than 14 years of experience in construction materials testing, quality control and assurance, transportation and structures construction including maintenance, geotechnical investigations, and construction materials laboratory operations. His career scopes major road infrastructure, municipal and private developments, and construction materials quality assurance projects across Namibia.
Key expertise: Construction materials testing, quality assurance and acceptance control, geotechnical investigations, pavement materials, laboratory operations, materials evaluation, and infrastructure project support.
Johan van der Merwe
Geologist (Part time)
M. Sc. Geology
Johan has over 36 years of experience in geotechnical investigations and construction inspections.Special areas of expertise include foundation investigations and recommendations for roads, railway lines,bridges, dams, buildings, residential townships and mobile phone masts.
