In the community
Ondombe, Ohangwena Region
The Tournament: The event is structured as a competitive tournament involving schools, where Ondobe SS captured championship honors.
Ondobe Secondary School (Ondobe SS) competed in and won a trophy at the Dolomite-Ondobe SS Tournament.
Okalongo, Omusati Region
Drawing on our hydrogeology and laboratory capability, our team sampled and tested community water points free of charge.
We then took the results back to the community and local leadership, explaining what they mean and giving practical advice on keeping water points safe.
Ongwediva, Oshana Region
We opened our laboratory to civil engineering students for a day of practical demonstrations, from sample preparation to compaction and strength testing.
Our team also shared what employers look for in graduates entering the industry, and how to build a career in materials testing.
We welcome proposals from schools, community organisations and local authorities.
